E-Waste Recycling Event

Join the City of Alameda for a FREE Electronic Waste Recycling Event, and your opportunity to clean house in an environmentally sensitive way. Safely disposing of electronic waste is a challenge and these items pose serious health threats when placed in our landfills. All materials collected will be safely recycled, reused, and/or disposed.

Alameda residents and businesses are invited to bring their unwanted electronics to the event. Acceptable items include:

• Computers
• Monitors
• Keyboards
• Fax Machines
• Printers
• Scanners
• Phones
• Televisions
• VCRs
• Related Accessories

Please do not bring: hazardous waste, household electronics (microwave ovens, can openers, blenders, vacuums, etc.) or appliances (refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, air conditioners, etc.)
